LOGIN SOLUTIONS:
1. Can't login (Personal experience, error code 6): If you have very weak internet, you might struggle logging in at all, potentially it would not work - This happened to me at the end of a month and I couldn't login despite many attempt trying to solve it. I just had to wait until I got good internet again.

1.1 Other logging in issues not related to weak internet have other potential solutions and have been shared by others before like changing your phone's language, using a VPN, clearing cache, restarting the app or deleting and reinstalling the game. Hope it all works.

2. To claim daily and weekly free quartz from the shop, I use a VPN before going into the game/the shop screen. It works for me everytime.

3. CS is very responsive so I recommend any bugs, feedbacks or suggestions you may have, you could direct it to them through the right channels that they've set (see in-game). They really do listen and have listened to changes that would improve our experience like the AP limit changing from 5 to 10 AP.

REVIEW:
I'm not good at reviewing things, I feel like I tend to ramble and can't make a concise point but I really wanted to review this game properly-ish because I love it so much. I'm not gonna cover everything tho.

RanuSte, while it takes a lot of inspirations of its system and UI and a lot of its inner workings from other familiar Joseimukes, there's something unique about its experience.
For one, I really like that it just exudes chill. The aesthetics and vibes are my personal taste, I love a good sci-fi, world building. I love having royalty and a little bit of magic✨

It is also clear that it respects your time. So if you're looking for something more grindy, this probably isn't the game for you. Unless, you know, if you oshi someone and want to get real high numbers, it can get real grindy. Event SR cards are easy to get, earliest is between 10 mins to an hour.
There are no rankings. The ultimate goal of an event for the 12-day event window (other than the event card, of course) is getting a lot of points to clear the event shop and to get an S score on an evaluation pot thing (where you submit event recipes to also get rewards from that pot)

The BGM for this game is insane. It is breathtaking. At this point in time, they've started uploading on YouTube again, their recent video is their latest event BGM, with a promise to upload their previous event BGMs down the line. I think they did really well with music in the game. My personal favorite is the garden/cultivation area's (where u get flowers, plants for alchemy) BGM. It's so cute 🌷

GACHA tends to be different for everyone. Early game you get a lot of quartz and tickets from a variety of things. A solo pull is 30 quartz, a multi is 300 quartz. To spark, you need 6,000 quartz which if you started saving early game like I did took roughly 3-4 months. That is with a lot of resources still though.
You can also pull with tickets, between 1-10 pulls. Ticket 'multis' don't guarantee an SR because they're technically solo pulls, but you could get lucky.
I've decided to keep to one (always pull) and a half oshi (depending on the card/situation) so I had saved all of my quartz since release. When it came time to pull, I actually had to spark (200). I was unlucky, but I've seen others with better luck.

I'm not a seiyuu fan type, so I don't care much abt the game not being full voice but I understand why ppl turn away from it. I think with the voice situation, we can really just try to support the game as far as we can and see where it takes us. Hopefully, game gets a lot of love in the future that it might just happen! I do also think the translation ban has pushed ppl away from starting and potentially translating, so it's not easy to come by translators at all. I think it's fine if you can be discreet abt it but that's just me.

Anyways, couldn't think of how to expand the other stuff so I'd say check out the other reviews here or try out the game for yourself, you won't lose anything either way.

That's it for my 'review'. 🩷

it's a great game, it's only a gacha game because the company needed money as what they're doing is a passion project, although unfortunately people got mad because they didn't get god damn fan service for the summer event like it's something you're entitled to and got the artist for the summer units fired because they raged and called her a feminist (being a feminist isn't bad, being a toxic feminist is), but in the game itself something that's really good is that it's really f2p friendly, like, all units and egos (special character abilities that are related to the story) are avaiblable to obtain in the shop for shards, even stuff like the battle pass egos, even the ones on the paid side

[無語] So, you probably saw the pop up and decided to see how the game plays?
Yeah... and, it's not great..
GRAPHICS: Graphics are basically the saving grace for the game. Pixel art and cute girls, who couldn't love that? Well.. it still has it's downsides. Characters are bland and uninspired.. Battles are basic, to say the least.. at most it all feels so generic, more like a parody than an original game.
SOUND: Repetitive, loud, and headache inducing... Yeesh. I had to turn the sound effects and music off with how bad it is.
GAMEPLAY: Think of something like Random Dice Defense or other games of the genre... Yeah, it's like that but more... cheap? There's a gacha system with... no odds listed anywhere? I guess theres a guaranteed UR each 10 pull, which is nice, but... Eh... It doesn't do it for me. A LOT of the UI is buggy / broken, with a fifth of the UI being taken up by a more P2W shop..
STORYLINE: None..? Yeeeah there's nothing of substance.
VALUE / TL;DR : ...Not worth it... I wouldn't even recommend to download it... So, alas, time wasted.. [大哭]

||| 4th ANNIVERSARY SOON |||

A real review of Project Sekai [厲害]

Pros :
+ One of the best JP rhythm game right now. So, it have a lot of active players in game.
+ Full of vocaloid songs.
+ Have 6 vocaloid characters and male characters.
+ Have a lot of great 2D and 3D music videos (MVs).
+ Simple controls.
+ Several QoL features, imo the most important is changing the amount of live bonus (stamina) consumption per run or song, it can be set to 2 or 3 for optimal rewards or 5~10 for faster run.
+ Have different size of notes (especially big notes) as an unique mechanic, so higher difficulty charts are more challenging for player.
+ Fun (or pain) notes based by song lyrics.
+ Recent songs have some new gimmicks.
+ New mechanic (trace) is also unique and nice addition for extra challenge and visual, despite i'm very skeptic at first because it looks like a copy from other gacha rhythm games, but turnly it's an improvement.
+ Side flicks on Proseka can be ignored and it does not affect to combos, despite accuracy will be ruined.
+ Beautiful card artstyle which difficult to describe.
+ Less fanservice, eh wait... [大哭]
+ Very care for story NPCs (like it have an unique art), tho i'm not a story reader.
+ Original project sekai characters are likeable and have good vocals or covers.
+ Popular voice actor or seiyuu, mostly come from rhythm, music, or idol series.
+ Keep releasing new charts and commissioned songs, so that's including introducing some vocaloid song producers and no more hibernation for the popular one.
+ All of 5 groups have a lot of great songs, especially Vivid Bad Squad and 25ji.
+ Feature to change song vocals. Including another vocal version, so some song have a bit change of lyrics and feeling/atmosphere.
+ Have some feature which can't be found in other gacha rhythm games. Even, some features are basically for players who likes to simp or oshi [怪笑]

Cons :
- Minimum requirements are (very) high.
- The game size is too big, especially if download with some MVs or virtual live datas. There are autodelete features, but still nope for virtual live data cmiiw.
- 3D MV lag on some devices.
- New UI is very modern and refreshing, but it have several new problems (probably not several anymore rn 💀).
- Lack of game settings and maybe lack of something common which can be found on other rhythm games.
- Hard to get limited ssr card you wants, except being a lucksack or whale.
- More grinding and farming if the game get a comparison with other gacha rhythm games out there (these are optional tho).
- Device dependency, than any other mobile rhythm games out there. Also, it's somewhat harder to execute notes timing/accuracy especially on high difficulty charts (start from 28+) without proper device.
- Design of most master (highest difficulty) charts are annoying imo, thanks to their bad habit (from overcharting, difficulty spike, thin slides, difficult patterns, etc.). Not good for replayability after getting full combo (FC) or all perfect. Tho playing lower than master diff is still fine.
- Approx ⅓ of the total master charts are difficulty 30+, it means they releasing too much of difficult charts (fyi 30 is the level which is the start of huge difficulty jump/gap in game and it's very challenging to FC, even for dedicated proseka players too imo).
- Multifinger charts added into the game, so kek, rip dev statement about "all songs are made to be full comboable with 2 fingers".
± Append difficulty came, a new special difficulty where 4 or more fingers are needed to clear the chart. At least, they make it useless for now, so it can be nice for training or simply ignore it.
- Recent charts are getting harder and harder.
- Most charts difficulty rating are not suitable. Another difficulty rerating when? [不滿]
- Quick summary, Proseka charts are designed more for satisfying pro rhythm players.
- Matchmaking in multiplayer mode is sometimes full of bugs.
- Playing master or append difficulty on multiplayer is less scoring and rewarding, especially if the player or device is suck with accuracy and combos. Even, the majority of Proseka players are picking to play hard or expert difficulty instead.

BTW I love proseka, that's why i put a lot of cons, hope they do better with the game in the future~

-----

TL;DR
Project Sekai is very aesthetically pleasing, fun, and challenging rhythm game. Also, it have a lot of vocaloid baits, make it very worth to play [哇噻]
